BAC PRO HAIRDRESSING PROFESSIONS
The holder of the Professional Bac Hairdressing Trades will be a qualified hairdresser specializing in :
– Carrying out a diagnosis
– Adaptation and implementation of a hygiene and hair care protocol
– The design and execution of a cut, color modification, shaping and custom styling
– The relationship with customers
– The sale of services and products
– Participation in the administrative, economic and financial management of a company
– The organization, monitoring and support of staff
Sectors of activity
The holder of the PROFESSIONAL BACCALAUREATE Trades of hairdressing exercises his activity, in compliance with the regulations in force, as an employee or self-employed in the following sectors :
- Any type of hairdressing business (hairdressing salons, traveling salons, home hairdressing businesses, businesses related to the hairdressing sector)
- Entertainment and fashion professions
- Beauty centers with integrated hairdressing activities
- thalassotherapy, balneotherapy with integrated hairdressing activities
- Tourism establishments, holiday and leisure centers
- Establishments for care, cure, convalescence, rehabilitation, accommodation for the elderly
- Professional hairdressing products and equipment distribution companies
- Hair products and professional equipment manufacturing companies
- Social reintegration centers or associations, prison centers.
Further studies
- AQUITA-PRO (Additional international training lasting 1 year): Possibility under school status (Lycée Gustave Eiffel in Bordeaux) to participate in a regional selection (on file and defense) in order to benefit from a scholarship allowing them to practice the profession of hairdressing for 6 months in a European partner country of their choice.
- BTS "Hairdressing professions" (2 years) in initial training (vocational school - Tarbes - Paris…) or in work-study program.
- Continuation of PARCOURS SUP platform studies
The establishment offers a European section in English or Spanish whose objectives are to strengthen linguistic and cultural skills and to acquire professional vocabulary in order to communicate with foreign customers. This education is supplemented by periods of professional training abroad (under conditions).
