THE HAIRDRESSING CAP OF AÏZPURDI HIGH SCHOOL :
The holder of the CAP Hairdressing Trades will be a qualified hairdresser in :
– Carrying out a diagnosis
– Adaptation and implementation of a hygiene and hair care protocol
– The realization of basic hairdressing techniques (cutting, shaping, color effects…). Welcoming customers and managing appointments
– Welcoming customers and managing appointments
– Advice and sales of services, equipment, hair products
– Participation in the activity of the company
Origin of the students :
3rd class (general, SEGPA, Prépa-pro, DIMA,…). The institution is considering the other applications. (Reorientation after obtaining or not a diploma such as CAP, Bac Pro, Bac Général or Bac technology ...
Training content (in 2 years)
General education common to all CAP (16h)
Professional education (6 p.m.) :
Professional Training Periods : 14 semaines dont
- 7 weeks in 1 era year
- 7 weeks in 2 th year
The establishment offers a European section in English or Spanish whose objective is to acquire professional vocabulary in order to communicate with foreign customers. This education is supplemented by periods of professional training abroad (subject to conditions).
The required qualities of the future holder of the CAP Hairdressing professions are :

The holder of the CAP Hairdressing Trades carries out his activity, in compliance with the regulations in force, in the following sectors :
- Any type of hairdressing business (hairdressing salons, traveling salons, home hairdressing businesses, businesses related to the hairdressing sector such as wholesalers, etc.)
- Entertainment and fashion sector
- Various establishments and institutions with integrated hairdressing activities (aesthetic centers, thalassotherapy, tourism and leisure establishments, care, cure, convalescence, rehabilitation, accommodation for the elderly

- Additional mention Hairstyle Cut Color (in 1 year) after the C.A.P (this training is provided in the establishment)
- Professional baccalaureate "Hairdressing trades (this training is provided in the establishment, integration of training in 1st BAC Pro from the start of the 2021 school year)

- BP Coiffure (Work-study training in CFA)
